DVD-Audio (DVD-A) is a disc format developed for high-fidelity audio rather than conventional video playback. Introduced commercially around 2000, it was promoted alongside Super Audio CD (SACD) as a medium for multichannel and high-resolution recordings.
Two Queen albums, A Night At the Opera and The Game, appeared on DVD-Audio with 5.1 surround mixes in addition to the original stereo recordings. The DVD-Audio edition of The Game includes an alternate mix of Coming Soon specific to that format.
