Live at Wembley ’86 is a double live album by English rock band Queen.
Recorded at Wembley Stadium in London on Saturday 12 July 1986 during the Magic Tour, the concert album was released on 26 May 1992. A companion DVD followed in June 2003.
A remastered US edition with bonus tracks appeared in August 2003 under the title Live at Wembley Stadium. Later releases elsewhere used the same title but did not necessarily contain the US bonus material.
A special-edition DVD released in the United Kingdom on 5 September 2011 included the complete Friday concert alongside the Saturday performance. Earlier editions contained only excerpts from the Friday show; a deluxe package also included a remastered CD of Saturday’s concert.
During the introduction to Who Wants to Live Forever Freddie addressed the rumours at the time of a Queen breakup by pointing to his posterior and saying
They’re talking from here!
which got quite a response from the audience. During the speech, Freddie making what was, prior to the Queen+ collaborations, a prophetic comment:
So forget those rumours, we’re gonna stay together until we fucking well die, I’m sure of it.
